Why We Built This Site
Public access in Georgia begins with the court that holds the file. Katie Cross's Superior Court office maintains Superior civil, criminal, domestic-relations, protective-order, and lower-court appeal records. Magistrate and Probate have separate clerks, while each operating municipal court keeps its own traffic and ordinance docket. We organize those official routes, explain the limits of online access, and identify when a clerk request is more reliable than a portal.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are searched and read locally
- Court dates: how to read Madison's court calendars and verify a setting
- Case lookups: how to use the local Case Search and clerk fallback
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies come from the responsible clerk
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Georgia court, clerk, municipality, or agency. Those boundaries mean:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results.
